Keep America Safe: STFU!

by Frumpzilla on October 31, 2009

Well, Cheneys, all I can say is “it sucks to be you.”  That isn’t a very nice thing to say but since you lowered the common decency standard by several notches, this week – there you have it.  It really, really sucks to be a Cheney.  Whether you are Darth the uber-Cheney, or Lizzie the mad apologist, or Mary (by far the most decent of the bunch) who must suffer the ultra-wingnut party weighing in on her parental qualifications – it just sucks.  And I can guarantee that it will only get worse unless you STFU and sit down for God’s sake.
At this point, the only thing that I can think of to explain the Cheney’s bizarre behavior is that they – father and Daddy’s girl – are either seriously afflicted (in some odds-defying way) with the same mental disorder or, they are that rarest of human occurrence, just downright stone cold evil.  Either way, they both need to get off the stage for their own good.  These people seem to really believe that they still have some shred of credibility no doubt because they surround themselves with their own dark, humorless version of the Yes Men.
Thank God, louder voices than mine have taken up the shout-down of Liz Cheney’s tasteless, mindless, soulless attack on President Obama’s attendance at the return of the fallen troops at Dover Air Force Base, this week.  There is not much that I could add to Rachel Maddow’s fact-laden dismantling of Liz Cheney’s venom or Lawrence O’Donnell’s heartfelt appeal to the Cheney’s “better selves.”  Here are both to remind us all that we don’t have to politely or quietly tolerate the Cheney’s incursions on our national discourse.
It’s over Cheney’s; go away and try to heal yourselves on your own time.
PS  Your new website sucks too, Liz.  I guess that’s why no one is going there after the “morbidly curious” bump at the launch.

It irritates me that the TV networks are using her as a commentator now. WHY? Is there anyone, anywhere, who doesn't know exactly what Lizzie's opinion is going to be? Wouldn't it make more sense to have reasonable people who can actually analyze an issue? The Cheneys are toxic to the environment. And Mama Cheney' influencing school textbooks? Ugh.

Wyoming, since you love them so much, call 'em back. We've had more than enough of them.

Right on, as usual, Mary Lee. I'll kick in for the shipping back to WY. . .
