Nothing I love more than hitting four or five birds with one stone. So, imagine my delight in stumbling upon Dirtball Fashion. Not only do I resonate to any fashion statement that sounds comfortable and “un-fussy,” but I DO like to buy Made in the USA, and I AM concerned about those pesky plastic water bottles that are piling up in every nook and cranny of the biosphere.
Seems the brains behind Dirtball Fashions are recycling the plastic water bottles to make knits, hats, shorts, tees. They also make skateboard decks (which I, personally, have no use for) and promise to come out with snowboards (ditto) in the future. The whole operation, start to finish, is carried out in the United States exclusively, so DF’s products are truly “Made in the USA.” If that’s not good enough, you can return your worn out, torn up, used up products to DF and they’ll recycle ‘em again.
